CADIS International is a humanitarian and development foundation, non-profit, of the Order of the Ministers of the Sick (Camillians), regularly registered in the Register of Legal Persons of the Prefecture of Rome.
We provide humanitarian, psycho-social, pastoral, and development support to populations affected by natural and other disasters. Our vision is the fullness of life in an eCon-resilient community (ecologically converted and resilient).
As a non-profit organization, we are able to implement emergency and development projects mainly thanks to supporters who, over time, have shown to be by our side, giving us trust and allowing us to operate in the contexts most affected by natural and other disasters.
Especially in recent years, we are witnessing a dangerous escalation of the consequences of climate change, even in areas generally not affected by disasters.

How can you help CADIS International?

What does it mean, concretely, to donate to the Emergency Fund?
By starting a monthly donation, in an amount of your choice, we are able to operate on different levels. Here are some practical examples:
€5 / month (0.16 cents per day)
Food, water, and medicine
When a natural disaster occurs, the population immediately needs basic necessities. Thanks to our resources, we are able to promptly provide everything needed during the first phase of intervention. With €5 you can either:
→ provide 1 food kit for 1 month for 1 family, or
→ distribute 1 hygiene kit for a woman for 1 week, or
→ assist 30 individuals in medical camps to ensure first health care.
€15 / month (0.50 cents per day)
First aid teams
The promptness of intervention is managed by our local partner organization. Thanks to our local partner/s we can act with means and personnel to reach even the most remote areas affected by earthquakes, floods, hurricanes. With €15 you can:
→ provide a complete health service (visit and medicines) for one month per patient,
→ distribute a complete kit of basic necessities (clothing, food, medicines) per family,
→ guarantee transport to the nearest hospitals for the most serious cases.
€25 / month (0.83 cents per day)
Long-term projects
After the emergency phase, we listen to the needs and necessities of people to implement resilience projects and ensure a dignified future. With €25 we are able to:
→ guarantee access to school education (stationery kit) to 3 disadvantaged children,
→ provide food for one month to 5 assisted families,
→ support the costs of repair materials or construction of a family home.
These are some concrete examples of what your contribution can do: every support, of any kind, is fundamental for us to ensure a rapid and dignified recovery for all affected people.
THANKS!
