In 2015, Pope Francis wrote Laudato Si' (The Letter); an encyclical letter on the environmental crisis addressed to every single person in the world. A few years later, four voices that have remained unheard in global conversations have been invited to an unprecedented dialogue with the Pope. They are the voices of Senegal, the Amazon, India and Hawaii.

The documentary "The Letter" follows their journey to Rome and their extraordinary experiences in Rome and Assisi. It is filled with powerfully moving personal stories and scientific information about the planetary crisis and its impact on nature and people.

On Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023, on the occasion of World Day of Consecrated Life and in memory of the conversion of St. Camillus de Lellis, CADIS International invites everyone to a screening of the film at the St. Camillus de Lellis Parish Basilica in Rome. Admission is free.

It will be a time of sharing and reflection because we can no longer ignore the cry of the Earth: the time to act is now!
