Mark your calendars for October 4!
CADIS International warmly invites you to join us in Bucchianico for the special presentation of our new book, "Faith in Action: A Decade of Compassion and Resilience with CADIS".
This gathering takes place on a doubly significant occasion: the closing of the Season of Creation and the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of ecology. It is a moment to gather as a community, reflect on our shared commitment to caring for creation, and celebrate a decade of faith-rooted humanitarian work and disaster response around the globe.
About the Book: Faith in Action
Faith in Action documents CADIS’s ten-year journey of accompanying vulnerable communities facing natural disasters, health crises, and ecological degradation. Through real-life testimonies, field insights, and reflections on Christian compassion, the book highlights how faith translates into practical resilience, community support, and environmental stewardship across the world.
Time & Venue: Sunday 4 October 2026, at 4.30 pm at the Sanctuary of St Camillo de Lellis in Bucchianico (Chieti).
The book: Available at Amazon in ENGLISH and in ITALIAN.
Order your copy! Copies of the book will also be available during the event.
Whether you are passionate about ecological justice, disaster relief, or simply looking to celebrate the Feast of St. Francis with meaningful dialogue, we look forward to welcoming you to Bucchianico!
Stay tuned for updates!
